Thank you for inquiring about the Buck & Boar. The Buck & Boar is located in beautiful central S.C. The property that makes up the Buck & Boar has been managed exclusively for wildlife over the past twenty years. Ten years ago the entire property was enclosed with five miles of game proof fence. The high fence has proven to be the ultimate management tool. Over thirty food plots and year-round supplemental feeds ensure our herds grow to reach their full potential.

Guests at the Buck & Boar see plenty of game because we do not over hunt our herd. You are hunting a wild herd of animals. Do not confuse the Buck & Boar with a conned hunting operation. The animals are wild and elusive, not stocked farm animals. The hunting is fair chase so be prepared to hunt hard and shoot straight.

The deer herd at the Buck & Boar is producing more quality trophy bucks each year than the year before. Thanks to our intensive trophy management program, bucks in excess of 160" are becoming more common. Deer hunts are extremely limited. No more than a dozen were sold for 2006. Five of these have already come and hunted with 100% success.

Harvest scores were 163",155",144"136"& 127". Four of these deer weighed well over 200#. We expect 2007 to produce the biggest trophy bucks in our history! We are taking deposits on these hunts now.
